Every 10x move
A 10x move is a rise of 10x or more not broken by a 70% fall. Caught = long for at least half of the move (price capture). Account growth is lower than price growth because the position grows at half the rate of the account (rule 8).
How rare is an entry?
Generational buy: the first breakout after a 60–75% crash from the all-time high, near the lows (at most one a year). Cycle buy: any other breakout back into the trend. Generational sell: an exit that closes a trade which at least tripled, or that fell from its high after a big run. Measured over every ticker in the wider sample.
